Our network is a grassroots information service run by small farmers for small farmers.
What we do
We run workshops, webinars and other events packed with practical information relevant to managing small rural properties in the NSW Southern Tablelands. We also created opportunities for small farmers to share resources such as expensive vaccines through mobile vaccination clinics.
By getting groups of interested people together, we can organise specialist presenters to teach us about the topics that people living on small farms tell us they need to learn about. Most workshops are hosted on local farms and have a hands-on component.

The Small Farms Network Capital Region received funding from the Every Bit Counts project. The Every Bit Counts project has been funded by the New South Wales Government through its Environmental Trust. The Every Bit Counts project has provided assistance to the Small Farms Network Capital Region to engage and support small landholders in better land management practices in 2019-2020.
