Let's talk about...

Landscaping chicken pens

Would your chickens be happier with a bit more greenery in their chicken run? We know chickens on a diet with regular green pick lay eggs with glorious yellow yolks but how do you keep the greens growing when the chickens are on a search and destroy mission?

Your host for this conversation will be Alice McGlashan. Alice raises chickens on her small rural property in Wamboin and has been using planting in the chicken run to provide food and shelter.

This event is for SFNCR members only. To register you need to be logged on as a member. If you are not a member we would love you to join.

Our Small Farms Conversation series is a chance for SFNCR members to meet online and share ideas. Find out what other people are doing on their place and how they are doing it. Ask questions. Share your experience.

Each conversation is hosted by a member and has a theme topic. The conversations are run online using Zoom and only SFNCR members can attend. Numbers are limited and registrations are essential.

Add your name to the wait list if the event is fully booked.
