Indian Myna birds are on the march and have arrived in Bungendore and surrounds. At this webinar Bill Handke from the Canberra Indian Myna Action Group will discuss why Indian Mynas are a problem and what actions we can take to reduce their impact on native birds and animals.

About our presenter

Bill Handke OAM has a deep interest in the natural environment and in conservation. He is the instigator and President of the Canberra Indian Myna Action Group Inc, a community-action program set up in 2006. In 2014 Bill was named the Environmentalist of the Year by the Conservation Council and awarded an Order of Australia in 2017 for his work on community health and the environment. Bill has many years’ experience managing Indian Myna birds at his home in Canberra and is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others.
